Uninstalling

Everything TermBridge adds is reversible. Removing it returns your shell to completely normal.

What gets removed

The install added exactly two things, and the uninstaller reverses both:

• The shell hook block in your ~/.zshrc (the marked # >>> termbridge >>> … # <<< termbridge <<< section).
• The background agent (its launchd job and binary).

After uninstalling, new shells are fully normal — there’s no wrapper, no agent, nothing left running.

How to uninstall

1. Quit the TermBridge menu-bar app.
2. Run the bundled uninstaller (it ships with the app and removes everything install added).
3. Drag TermBridge.app from Applications to the Trash.
4. Open a new terminal to confirm your shell is back to normal.

Will this break my open terminals?

No. The shell hook is designed to fail safe, and removing it simply means future shells aren’t wrapped. Existing shells keep running. Open a fresh terminal after uninstalling and you’ll see a completely standard shell.

Removing the paired device

Uninstalling the Mac app stops that Mac from being reachable. You can also delete the TermBridge app from your phone — with no accounts and no key server, there’s nothing else stored anywhere to clean up.
