Multiple Macs

If you work across more than one machine — a desktop and a laptop, say — you can pair all of them to the same phone and switch between them in a tap.

How it works

Each Mac you pair gets its own stable, isolated relay room. They never collide. On your phone you simply pick which Mac you want, and its live shells appear.

Crucially, each Mac keeps its own live connection. Switching to a Mac that happens to be asleep or offline doesn’t drop the connection to the one you were actually using — the sessions don’t fight over a single slot. Switch back and it’s just there, no reconnect wait.

Pairing additional Macs

Install the menu-bar app on each Mac (same Installation steps), then pair your phone to each one. There’s nothing else to configure — no naming scheme, no central registry.

A typical multi-Mac workflow

  • Kick off a long agent run on your desktop at home in the morning.
  • On the train, open your laptop’s terminals from the same phone to keep working.
  • Get a notification when the desktop agent needs you, tap it, and land directly in that terminal — without losing your laptop session.

Plan note

The Free plan limits you to 1 Mac and 1 active terminal. Pro unlocks unlimited Macs and terminals, plus pairing an iPhone + iPad to one Mac at once. See Plans & limits.
